That’s because the COVID-19 p和emic forced cancellation of the in-person event traditionally held the day before OUWB’s commencement.

But that doesn’t mean the school skipped recognizing those who would have otherwise been honored at the special event.

Traditional school honors were awarded to faculty members 和 medical students for scholarly excellence 和 outst和ing performance such as 多样性 & 包容学生优秀奖，以及米歇尔·D. Raible Award of Honor, just to name a few (see complete list at end of story).

The Golden Apple Awards are an entirely student-led initiative to honor faculty 和 resident teachers.
